Antti Törmänen, also known as Ten, Finnish 6 dan, Tien on KGS
|Antti is a Finnish university student and a former Japanese B class insei. He started playing go in spring 2002, and has steadily made his way up in the rankings. He started teaching go privately in the summer of 2009. He participated in the 2009 Experience Go In China program as a student, and again in 2011 as part student, part teacher. He is well-known for maintaining the go-related blog of Go of Ten.Notable achievements by Antti include fifth place in the World Youth Goe Championship 2005, winning the Finnish Championship in 2008 and 2010, 18th place and the Shizuo Asada Fighting Spirit prize in the World Amateur Go Championship 2009, and winning the London Open Go Congress 2010 as well as the rapid tournament of the European Go Congress 2011.|
